Difference screen and zipper screen
We supply two different types of sun protection screens, namely the “standard” screens and zipper screens. We briefly explain the difference:
- With a standard screen, the fabric is loose in the guides (i.e. without a zipper). This makes the fabric not wind resistant and therefore not suitable for every situation or facade.
- With a zippered screen, the screen is attached to the guides by means of a zipper. This makes the fabric extra strong and there is no space between the screen and the guides. With a zipper screen, you do not suffer from a flapping screen, because it is completely wind resistant. Also, the zipper and the closed cloth ensure that insects have no opportunity to slip past your screen!

As an awning, screens are an excellent way to keep heat out, especially when you have limited space. This is because a screen is mounted tightly along the window and therefore hardly takes up any space.
The screen is mounted on the outside of your home, blocking sunlight before it reaches your window. This keeps the temperature in your home pleasantly cool all day long.
Shade Solar screens are weather-resistant and dirt-repellent. In addition, the fabric is made so that you cannot look inside from outside. However, you can look outside yourself.
